Before you spend $5,000 to $90,000 on a patio cover, watch how the guarantee actually works, what separates insulated from non-insulated, what a wrong install looks like years later, and real homeowners telling you what it was like. No sales rep required.
Every other “lifetime warranty” covers the metal and quietly excludes the leaks, the wind, and the workmanship. Here are the five things Mr. Patio Cover puts in writing — for the life of the structure.
Are you looking for a patio cover company you can trust without paying too much? You're not alone. Nobody wants to overpay.
Even worse is being stuck with a product or service you're not satisfied with for years to come. At Mr. patio cover, we've made sure that you end up with a patio cover you love at a price that is affordable.
And Mr. patio cover, you're protected by our exclusive five-star guarantee. Number one, every patio cover we install comes with a lifetime 130 mile-an-hour wind-proof guarantee.
In short, your patio cover will withstand hurricane winds without damage or we will repair it or replace it for life. Not even the big bad wolf can damage our covers. Number two is our lifetime guarantee against any faulty workmanship or installation.
This means that we stand behind our work no matter what for life. For some reason we make a mistake, although we rarely do, we will fix a problem at our expense, not yours. Number three is our 30-day completion guarantee.
Because the construction industry is riddled with flaky contractors, we guarantee that your patio cover will be completed within 30 days from beginning to end. Or we will pay you $100 a day for every day we go over. No flakes here, just the service you deserve.
Number four is our claim communication guarantee. We guarantee to keep you informed from start to finish on your installation through text, email or telephone calls on a scheduled basis. So you are never in the dark about the progress of your project.
And number five is our guarantee that your patio cover will never leak. This means as long as you own your home, your patio cover will never leak. And if it does, just call us back and we'll fix it forever.
This may sound like a no-brainer, but it is a problem for other companies in the industry. But not for us here at Mr. patio cover.
This is something other patio cover companies just don't offer. But yet, you get it here for free. On top of all that, once we finish, we will wipe the entire structure for fingerprints, remove any leftover material, sweep and clean the patio to eliminate any metal shavings or debris, and then present you with a completion package that includes your warranties and care instructions.
This is just a small sample of the service you can expect here at Mr. patio cover. Thank you for taking the time to watch this video and please contact us if you have any questions.
What a 3-inch R-13 foam core actually does to the temperature, the sound of rain, and the finished look under an aluminum patio cover.
And Mr. Paddock cover we have multiple colors and styles Paddock covers to choose from. If you're looking for a solid top cover, there are only two categories, insulated and non-insulated.
In this video, I wanted to quickly walk you through the difference between the two, so you can choose the best one for you and your family. The insulated cover has a couple of major attributes that may be right for you. Number one, the insulated top is more rigid than the non-insulated.
Although both carry the same 130 mile-an-hour windproof guarantee, if you like, you can actually walk on the insulated top as it stands. As for the non-insulated top, you must lay a piece of plywood on top of it if you need to walk on it for any reason. Number two, in a heavy rainstorm, the insulated top will be slightly more quiet than the non-insulated top, and this may be a consideration for you.
Many of our customers actually enjoy hearing the rain as it falls on the cover. Number three, the insulated top also has an open gutter system that is easy to keep clean from leaves and debris. The non-insulated top requires the removal of the downspout to get access to the same debris that may need to be clean.
Number four, if you have access to see the top of the cover on a regular basis, you'll notice that the non-insulated top shows open channels and covers for electrical components that will be harder to clean of leaves and debris. Whereas the insulated top is completely enclosed and thus easier to clean and remove any leaves or debris. Finally, the insulated has a smoother ceiling look compared to the distinct planked look of the non-insulated cover underneath.
As well, like any upgraded product, the insulated is priced a little higher, while the non-insulated can be a little more affordable. Outside of these differences, both patio covers carry the same five-star guarantee for product quality, installation, and service here at Mr. Paddy Cover, and both will end up being beautiful additions to your home.

It isn’t the aluminum that fails — it’s the install. Leaks, wet walls, and wind damage are what a bad attachment looks like a few years down the road.
There's a real problem with most patio cover companies, and it looks like this. Yes, this is what happens when your patio cover is installed incorrectly. Now you may be wondering, how can this really happen?
And the plain truth is that there are any number of reasons that this happens with other patio cover companies, including the use of wrong screws, improper lags into the wall of the house, and incorrect beam supports just to name a few. It's not uncommon for contractors to use leftover parts from other jobs that may or may not be the right parts for your job.
It is also imperative that every job be engineered specifically for the specific bill, and at Mr. patio cover they always are. But unfortunately, many times other contractors order the thinnest gauge material and use leftover screws to save money and to offer the customer a less expensive price, just to get the job.
So beware, at Mr. patio cover we never cut these corners. That's why we are the only patio cover company who offers a lifetime 130 mile an hour wind guarantee, as well as a lifetime guarantee on the workmanship.
We are so confident that you will never have these problems with Mr. patio cover that we will replace your patio cover at our cost if this ever happens to you. But be assured, it never will.
Now you might still be tempted to take the cheap route in hope that this never happens to you, but that could be the least of your problems if your patio cover blows into your neighbor's property and causes damage, or God forbid injury or even a fatality. So in conclusion, and like we said before, don't let this happen to you. Call us today to make sure that it never does.
Mr. Patio Cover’s owner, on camera, no script — explaining what most warranties leave out and why a cover attached wrong can rot the wall of your house.
And Mr. Pateo Cover, we guarantee that every patio cover we install will never leak. With this lifetime guarantee, we will repair and replace your patio cover at our expense for as long as you own your home.
But this guarantee applies to the patio cover alone. Let me explain. If you own a Stucco home and the Stucco above the patio cover is exposed to the rain, the Stucco can get wet and let water soak into the Stucco behind the point where the patio covers attach to the home.
The Stucco is porous like a sponge and will actually absorb water into the material the same way concrete or stone will allow water to soak into them. This is very common on two story homes, but not exclusive to them. When rain falls and hits the top of the patio cover, it will splash onto the Stucco, just as it will when it hits the ground or any other hard surface.
This is why you always see the bottom part of your Stucco walls darker than the rest of the wall after the rain. The rain has hit the ground or cement around your home and splashed up and soaked the bottom of your wall. In the same way, rain or rough runoff hits your patio cover and splashes on the wall above the cover.
The water will then seep into the wall and show wet underneath the patio cover and water soak patterns. At first sight, this may cause pause, but it's completely normal. If your Stucco has any cracks, it makes it even easier for the water to seep down the cracks behind the patio cell.
Unfortunately, this is not a patio leak, but a Stucco leak. But don't despair, there are a few things that can be done to help solve this problem. The first and best step would be to have a seamless gutter installed at the second story refline.
This prevents excess water runoff from hitting the top of your patio cover and creating the splash that soaks your Stucco. Another way to address this issue is to seal and paint above the Stucco with several coats of paint, eliminating its ability to absorb water. But most of the time, you probably don't want to paint your Stucco if it's in good shape.
The third option is to apply cement or stone sealer to the Stucco above your patio cover. The only problem is that this treatment will eventually wear off and need to be reapplied on a regular basis. So the question is, is your patio cover really leaking?
If it is, we are happy to repair it or replace it to remedy the problem. But if the Stucco is leaking, call us today and we will be glad to refer you to an affordable gutter company to eliminate the runoff from hitting your new patio cover and eliminate the splash that creates this problem.
No actors, no scripts — customers describing the consultation, the crew, and the finished cover.
Well, I decided to choose Mr. Patio Carr. After having three or four different quotes, the one thing I liked a lot was how they were going to install the patio cover.
Also Chuck was a big factor. I liked his personality. I felt comfortable with him.
That was one of my factors in deciding to go with Mr. Patio Carr. Actually all of them, because it's important to know that number one, we don't get real heavy ones where we're here in Chino, but we do get wins.
I definitely want to know that if we do get those ones that is going to stay put, the other thing is that my old patio cover leaked like crazy. I did not want to have another patio cover that leaked. As far as the completion, I have dogs.
It's really hard to contain them when you've got someone doing a job for you and it ends up taking a lot longer than it's supposed to. Those were main factors for me. So yeah, they were all important.
Actually, I've already told a few of them. The one thing I did say to them was the dependability. When they were supposed to be here, when they were supposed to call back, the job was done in the amount of time.
Actually, I think a little quicker than they had said, it was supposed to be done. The guys were fantastic. The crew was great and they didn't leave anything here.
There was no debris left over. They took it down. They cleaned up after themselves.
It was a very positive experience. I had been told that because I wanted to go around my chimney, that it was possible that there might be some leaking. We did have some rain about, I don't know, maybe four months after they first put it in.
But the thing that really impressed me was I did have some leaking after the first rain that we had after having it installed around the chimney. I called up Chuck. I think the guy was out two days.
He did whatever he did up there and it has since rained again, and there's no leak. I was really happy about that because you get kind of nervous, it's like, okay, are they going to show up? Is it going to take six months before they come back out because now the job is done and they paid for it?
No, that's not the case. I was very happy with that. Thank you, Mr.
Patio Cover, for making this experience positive and giving me a great
Well, we chose Mr. patio cover because I had a good friend who had patio cover installed by Mr. patio cover and initially I wasn't real keen on the idea of having aluminum patio cover because typically they look pretty cheap.
But the patio cover he had installed, it looked great and I mean it was rock solid, is a beautiful patio cover, no maintenance required, wipe it down when it gets dirty or dusty and it's got channels in the top of it to channel the water out and down the gutters. So I mean it's a dry patio cover that looks fantastic. I mean you can't tell it's aluminum, it's a great patio cover.
Yeah, there were a couple of the five guarantees that made a difference to us. We live on top of the hill here with almost a 360 degree vantage point and it gets windy up here. I mean windy enough where when the wind start kicking up around 80 miles an hour we sleep downstairs because the windows are rattling so much.
130 mile an hour wind guarantee was kind of critical to us because we know how windy it gets up here. The no leaks was nice too because the little bit that it does rain it's nice to be able to go sit on the back patio and it is raining and just listen to the rain and not have to worry about getting wet. So mmf the 30 day to complete the job they finished that in a day and a quarter and our patio was fairly large so for them to finish that in a day and a quarter was pretty incredible.
The guy came back after the first day and all he had to do was a little bit of electrical on a couple of other little things so he was only here for maybe three hours or so four hours before the job was completed so it was done very quickly. The guys were great the guy that put it up was asking me if I was okay with the work that they were doing and every step of the way.
So yeah it was nice the way they did it. It was nice to be included in you know every stage that they were along the way just to make sure I was okay with what they were doing so yeah good bunch of guys. Well I've already had my neighbors come over I mean the guys were here for such a short period of time installing it that I don't even know if my neighbors knew we were installing a new patio cover but I've pulled them out when they get out of the cars coming home from Morric and said hey check out our new patio cover and I think they're astonished at an aluminum wood patio cover being that nice we've got six flush mounted can lights in in the top of it so at nighttime you can dim those down and turn them up the lighting out there is just gorgeous I mean it really is.
We've got two fans out there that are remote controlled so in the summer time we can turn the fans on so it's just a it's just a fantastic outdoor area and when I take my neighbors back there I mean you know I think they're pretty impressed. So we've had we've had two pretty severe storms kind of come through since we've had the patio cover installed thunderstorms and lightning I think the first storm we got an inch and a half worth of rain and the second storm we got a little over two inches of rain and you know the fact that the cover has built in channels to take the water off the top of the cover or the patio and channel it through the downspouts into the grass was really nice.
The patio cover everybody thinks that they're noisy when it rains.
